Music Over Video Games (M.O.V.E.) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children, teens, and families replace excessive recreational video gaming and screen time with music education, mentorship, creativity, and meaningful community experiences.
We believe every child has unique talents waiting to be discovered. Through the power of music, posotive mentorship, and opportunities to perform and serve others, we help young people build confidence, discipline, leadership, and lifelong skills that extend far beyound the classroom or stage. M.O.V.E. exists to inspire youth to choose creativity over isolation, purpose over distraction, and real-life connections over excessive screen time

Why We Exist
Today's children are growing up in a digital world where screens are part of everyday life. While technology offers many benefits, excessive recreational gaming and screen use can reduce time for creativity, physical activity, social interaction, and personal growth.
Music provides a powerfil alternative
Learning an instrument, singing in an ensemble, and performing with others helps develop focus, discipline, teamwork, resilience, and confidence. Through M.O.V.E., we encourage young people to exchange hours of excessive screen time for opportunities to learn, create, perform, and connect with others.
